This is probably my second favorite platformer (my first being Rocket Knight Adventures). Pulseman is very well-designed with stages being challenging without being cheap or unfair. The visuals are vibrant and appealing. Pulseman's soundtrack is also download worthy.

This game was quite thrilling as a kid. At some times, it meant getting over some of the white knuckle moments of running from your enemies and other times, not knowing how to kill a particular monster. This game was pretty deep, and had some moments that really stick with me, even today.
