I'm in the neighborhood of 500 (not counting digital games, which would bump it up by about 50 or so), though I've never actually taken a full count/inventory of them.

One of these days I should do that.

I have no intention of stopping anytime soon though. There's a pretty absurd number of games I still want, enough so that I tend to forget them, and there's new ones coming out all the time.

I have about 350-400, but I would give up every single one of them to own the candy cabs I want with the right games

For the most part I have kept all my gaming stuff since I got a hand me down 2600 in 1985, with only a brief period in the late 90's when I traded some n64 era stuff. But that would only account for about 200 or so pieces in my collection. Around 2001 I got a GBA and it ignited my passion for games again so I started moderately buying old and new games again. I really didn't start collecting hardcore till 2008. I started working for Game Stop and even though surrounded by new games, instead of making me want to play them, it made me want to play all the old games I missed even more.

Like...35 or so. And soon to go down.

I constantly worry about having to much in the way of videogames. I worry it will keep women away, or that it will keep me from doing stuff... meh.

I've got 1177 games right now and 28 consoles/handhelds, not including a few doubles and a stack of about 50 trade/sale items.

Slowly working my way towards a licensed NES set.

Yes, this.

At a guess though, I have about 280-300 physical games. Last time I counted, it was about 270 and I've bought a fair few since then.

According to my backloggery, between physical and digital games, I own 529 games. Because they count compilation games individually, it's more likely about 515. 119 of those are digital apparently (I honestly didn't realise I owned so many downloaded games!) meaning I actually have around 400 physical games.

As for consoles, not including doubles, but including different models of the same system (eg. DS & DSi), I own 28 consoles. That doesn't include my broken CDi. I own 23 distinct consoles, not including different models.

I feel like I buy games too fast at the moment, but if I cut back just a bit, I'd still be buying a good number of games yet be able to keep up with mypurchases. I certainly don'tgo as mad as some
