If you're talking about the live action one, then no. That was one of the absolute worst movies of all time.
However, I understand there was also a Japanese animated Mario movie or show or something, and THAT wasn't actually half bad. You can find it on YouTube.
SUper Mario Bros. movie....AAAARRGGH!

Yeah, everyone in it kinda had a bad time. Something about the script constantly being rewritten and after just a few days of shooting everyone just ignored the fact there was a script and just went with it.
What mostly surprised me about this film was the cast they had. I mean they aren't huge actors or anything, but I mean come on, they are very recognizable faces and everything... and I personally consider a few of them pretty good actors (despite Leguizamo's goofy roles in his past, he is one of those jokesters that can still pull of a very good dramatic role... I like that).
And what is this shit there is a rumoured Christmas Carol with Bob Hoskins in it? Hasn't that story been done enough, with "Scrouged" being the best version ever!
On top of that why doesn't imdb display any broadway an actor did?
