Anyone know what happened to underground-gamer this time? I haven't been able to access it for two days, and I've confirmed that it is down for everyone and now just me.

Dunno. It's definitely down; I had a console window open with ping running and got no response all day yesterday. Hopefully it gets fixed soon...

Show/Hide 2008-06-29 - Server Down (NEW)

Apologies for the inconvenience of the downtime the past couple of days.

We're not sure what's wrong - it doesn't appear to be a hack attempt, the server just stops responding and doesn't boot up properly. It might be a hardware issue. We managed to get it up for now, but we might look at switching hosts (again!) as they're not being particularly helpful in fixing whatever's wrong, and we've had hardware issues with the server before.

Most people don't realize how much of a pain web hosting can be...

I'm really glad it's back up.

If web hosts are anything like ISPs in typical helpfulness (I guess they are just like them, as they are the same companies mostly), I can imagine what a pain it can be.
