I just got done cleaning coffee up that poured thru my ceiling. On to my stuff i flipped the fuck out, cause it hit stuff that i can't replace. I am starting to look for a new place tonite.

How did it go through the ceiling? Did some tenant upstairs spill coffee and then it came out of some light fixture?
You'd be surprised how easy it is for liquid to find its way through the floor. And you'd be even more surprised how little amount of water is needed to make it look like a bathtub was overflowing for an hour.
For example, I noticed it was raining in my living room one day. The location was exactly below where my brother has a fish tank upstairs, I thought his fish tank exploded. Turns out, the filter was clogged and started overflowing. The amount of water missing from the fish tank was hardly noticeable, but judging from the amount of water downstairs, you would have guess that a third of the tank was missing.
Water leaking through the floor/ceiling is one of the most annoying things for a homeowner, in my opinion. I rate it right up there with doors (I hate doors) and any time you have to crawl under a sink.

That's a bummer.
The people above me are slobs they spilled coffe and it came down thru my new ceiling tiles on to my red wii and some childhood items,this is the 3rd time this has happened the last time it hit my tv time before that it was milk raining down.It doesn't matter where i move my electronics they get hit.
