basically, i refuse to give up hope on my champions at nintendo. i know by the end of the wii's run, we'll have more than a handful of classic titles. just because theyre not churning them out one after another, doesnt mean they'll never be.
i dont think they should be hated because most of their 3rd party titles suck. its the the 3rd party developers that suck, not nintendo. basically, in retrospect every nintendo console is great in its own way (except virtual boy). so when its all said and done, the wii will be no different.
these are all just my opinions though.. the wii could end up being the atari 2600 pt. 2

Actually the rules of fandom are as such:RyaNtheSlayA wrote:That doesnt mean I cant love both companies can I, sheesh you dont have to just pick ONE company, those are my 2 of choice, I love Sony, ive grown up w/ them but I love Sega's arcade style.AwesomeMonstar wrote:... 1. You must pick one company/developer. Two or more are forbidden.
2. You cannot be a Pong fanboy. It just isn't possible.
3. Under no circumstances can you support two rival companies/developers.
4. Ninjas are better than Pirates.
And of course, I didn't just type those up. Totally official, approved by the king of the internet.[/i]

lol well Ninjas are better than pirates and I know its impossible to be a Pong fanboy, so if I really had to chose... it would be Sony. Let the flaming begin!Zer wrote:Actually the rules of fandom are as such:RyaNtheSlayA wrote:That doesnt mean I cant love both companies can I, sheesh you dont have to just pick ONE company, those are my 2 of choice, I love Sony, ive grown up w/ them but I love Sega's arcade style.AwesomeMonstar wrote: ... Dude, I'm assuming you're joking because no one is going to flame you. This isn't Gamespot. There's nothing wrong with being loyal to something you believe in.RyaNtheSlayA wrote: so if I really had to chose... it would be Sony. Let the flaming begin
Back on topic, I am also looking forward to Madworld. And has there been any mention of Viewtiful Joe on the Wii? That might be interesting.

I own a Wii... and this post it one of the problems that I have with it.
It seems as if the majority of "great" or "desired" games are continuations of franchise that already exist. Now this may not be a problem but I do not like any of the Smash Brothers games... so Brawl did nothing for me. I liked mario cart on the SNES, but doubt I will pay $50 for a newer version...
Don't get me wrong - I love SM Galaxy and Zelda, but for the most part all of the "major" games seem to be remakes or already popular franchises that I am not a fan of... and this is why I am disappointed in my Wii.
and as always there are some exceptions!

Sure on some games like Wii Sports it's great, but on games like Need for Speed Pro Street it's totally uneccessary. There are only about 3 games so far on the Wii I've enjoyed. Hopefully Animal Crossing Wii will be a good game (and not use motion controls).
