Dreamcast online??
Re: Dreamcast online??
I was big into the DC when it was out, and used the web browser and keyboard from time to time to grab game saves. I bought my BBA as soon as they started offering them and loved PSO on broadband. I still have my BBA attached to my DC, but haven't really considered try to get online with it recently. I'm surprised that there is still a community out there running servers.

Yep, they were able to create private servers once the official ones shut down. they did this with the DC, GC, and PC versions I believe.Duke.Togo wrote:I was big into the DC when it was out, and used the web browser and keyboard from time to time to grab game saves. Re: Dreamcast online??
Last year I spent over 100hrs playing PSO online on a private server with PC, GC, and DC. Small community, but I had a really fun time playing. May have to get back into it again.
Was using BBA with the DC. Can't remember the name of the Server.

Every once in a while I'll hop on my Gamecube to play through a forest run on ultimate, maybe kill De Rol Le / Da Ra Lie for the sake of hearing the music. I have all four versions of the console PSO, and there honestly isn't a game that I have as much nostalgia for. I wish the community were still engaged, but I know it just isn't meant to be.
