really enjoyed Raw last night... according to what I have read, there is some real tension betwene the Rock & Cena. Hoping that 'Mania will be much better than last year, it has a lot of potential.

Ok Gamerforlife - I'll concede Cena is definitely the heel now. Rock came off (again my opinion) as a bit of a bully / heel in the SS lead-up and early stuff, but Cena is really firing away now.

Rock has been much more babyface-ish recently.

Yeah, the thing is, to me a face plays up to the crowd. I feel like Rock has been doing that ever since this feud started and he's been doing it a lot more than Cena. Last night, he came off as a guy really trying to entertain the crowd, while Cena just tried to bash Rock. Rock did the same thing, but did it while trying very hard to entertaining the crowd. That's sort of Rock's thing, he's an entertainer (which Cena seems to hate him for), and to me that's what a babyface does. You entertain the crowd. A heel's job it to piss off the crowd, and Cena seems to have a certain chunk of every crowd he comes before pissed at him

I've gotten a bit heated over the Rock/Cena issue though. Sometimes I have to take a step back and realize that it's just wrestling. No need for me to take it so seriously. So apallogies if I've come off as a bit little heel-ish to anyone in this thread

Ultimately though, they probably want both guys to play face. However, Cena just always seems heelish to me though. Just something about him that gets under my skin.

Another reason I love Al Snow. Blackman actually came away with a personality. (And never mess with the man. JBL can attest to that.)

I marked out for Thuganomics, lol, a lot of Cena haters I know even liked that segment. Too bad it was a one night deal... imho, he's too seasoned for that gimmick now. I was vastly disappointed with the Rock's concert... a couple of chords over an' over again isn't rock, but he sure as hell entertained the crowd with his those schoolyard lyrics. He didn't need notes on his wrist that night though, he had the jumbotron for that, lol!

I love the Rock but I'm really starting to dislike Dwayne Johnson watering down the character. I liked it better when he kept kayfabe and reality separate. Cena, on the otherhand, says he enjoyed Rock's concert... another kayfabe killer, that damned Twitter...

Interesting note, there's been some rumors regarding hostility towards Rock backstage amongst the other superstars and a lot of haters are adding their own fuel to the fire. Good ol' JR, though, had something to say about all that in this legends video. Leave it to good ol' Jim Ross to put people in their place.

Hogan's also chimed in regarding who's going to win between Cena and the Rock and the (business) answer has always been so blatantly obvious it's a wonder why they even put this feud together in the first place. Oh wait, that's right... money!! Rock's still, and always will be, an incredible draw for anything he decides to take part in.

Aw man, I was a fan at first but the novelty of that gimmick's gotten old real quick. Despite racking up the wins he's really not going anywhere with his current routine. Very sad.
