Bomberman Live or Commando 3

Post by link343 »

I have some MS points and I can't decide what game to get? I've read some wonderful reviews on Bomberman Live, but you get the Street Fighter II HD Remix beta if you get Commando 3. Help me decide.

My brother got to review commando o we got it for free. It's pretty good... just another robotron clone really but that's not a bad thing. The beta is just ryu and ken but if you are a big street fighter 2 fan like me that should be enough. Bomberman live is pretty sweet though, I loves me the series too so I guess it really comes down to whether or not you like commando. Download the trial and see how you like it before making the decision.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

Bomberman all the way. I was actually quite disappointed with the new Commando; it didn't retain the feel of the earlier titles. Bomberman Live though is a great way to waste hours of time, especially if you have a friend along for the ride. This is just my opinion, though.

Are there still people playing bombermanl live? That is my question because I don't have a lot of people come over and play with me in the summer? On the bomberman Live forum, people are saying that are less and less people playing this game. Can someone confirm this?

EDIT:DISREGARD MY EARLIER STATEMENT. I still would like an answer to my question above.

EDIT: Actually, I might wait until July 2 to buy something. Because I just Found out that SOUL CALIBER IS COMING TO LIVE NEXT WEDNESDAY! I still would like an answer to my question above.
It's true, of course, that any game will have less and less people playing it online as it gets older (save for a dedicated core group), although Bomberman had a MUCH bigger fanbase to begin with. If you like previous Bomberman games a lot, get the Bomberman. If you like Commando or Commando 2 (aka MERCS)...then play those and still buy Bomberman on XBLA.

Wait a minute, did you say Soul Calibur this week? That would be fun to see! Please post a link of the confirmation...thanks! :D

Unfortunately, there is no online mode. Let me repeat that, NO ONLINE!!!!! But these post are best on speculation. I provably won't buy it now since there is no online mode.

The SF beta is limited and buggy and Capcom has said they have no intention to patch it because it's just a beta. Bomberman might be the best way to go -- it's a full game that you'd get for it's own sake, not because there's a beta attached. Plus being a retro gamer it would probably be something you'd enjoy and you could probably find other RB forum members to jump into games with ya.

Yea, I'm going to go with Bomberman Live. I love the bomberman games as a whole and can't really get into the Commando game.
