It actually wasn't nearly as bad as you think. I was able to see surprisingly well. It was real easy to get into character since at the time I would quote him on a daily basis to the point where I pretty much was Godot

Dude, how many cups of coffee did you have to drink to "slip into character"?
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis. Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.
Well, I just played Tomoyo's arc in Clannad. I cried a little, but I was real close to just all-out weeping. That story really spoke to me. It deals with issues that I've been struggling with and it's such a beautiful story. It's not just that I love Tomoyo. The whole thing affected me.
Kyou's arc was really cool, too, but Tomoyo's was real intense. It asked questions about some of the things that form the base of my worldview and self-image. Are you really a man? I'm sure not everyone will respond to it the same way, but for me, I really needed it. I cried but I think it helped me in a big way.

When Auron died to actually banish Sin and Tidus finally leaves everyone in the ending of FFX. That is the only video game moment that really shed me into tears
Also, the moment in Project Justice when
Hyo died in Taiyo High School's ending is depressing . Kyosuke lost his brother and ironically, Hyo's voice actor died shortly before the game even came out.
