No, most cultures would view outsiders as "barbarians" -- even the South Americans (Mayans, Incans, Aztecs.. in that order) when armored gods came riding horseback (to invade them).
Also, is there any "warm" region in Korea? Most Asian countries have a "hot spot" where they farm or get tans, but all of them have a "northern" or "rocky" region where they remain as pale as porcelain.
