What are the best Dreamcast games that AREN'T shooters?

sturmwind a new dreamcast game just came out an offcial company made it its amazeing!!
resident evil 2,3 looks amazeing at 60fps and upgraded

rayman 2
soooo many more

grandia 2 rpg
e.g.g great underated rpg
dead or alive 2

cosmic sma7 masions import horror amazeing!!
just to name a handful!! lol dreamcast has so many amzeing games i can't even believe it did not make it head to head and murder ps2 it was also a great system had great games but dreamcast games were so uniqe and original i don't think the world was ready for it or cool enough except everyone here lol

You've come to the right place. Let me group these for faster reading. Many people suggested good stuff so far, so I might be repeating a few.

Of course I'd suggest shmups but that's such a small section of the DC library (except in Japan it seems)

Sports titles -- DC's in house productions from Sega are all good bets. The NFL2K series for example. Be sure to see Sports Jam which is like 12 games in 1.

Racing -- Check out Hydro Thunder, Test Drive 6, Sega Rally 2, the awesome F355 Challenge, and even Flag to Flag CART Racing. Also a great port of Daytona USA is out there to get.

Arcade Ports -- I can go on and on. Soul Calibur, Project Justice, Crazy Taxi 1 & 2, Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2, SNK vs. Capcom, King of Fighters 99 (port of KOF 98), Tech Romancer, Power Stone 1 & 2, Silent Scope, Dynamite Cop, Gauntlet Legends, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Confidential Mission, House of the Dead 2, Virtual On Oratorio Tangram, so many many many more.

Horror & such -- Illbleed is the one DC exclusive to have. Also check out all the Resident Evil games that received excellent DC portage (RE2 & 3, Code Veronica) -- also Zombie Revenge, and also see about D2.

What else? -- Shenmue for sure. Airforce Delta is sweet, Typing of the Dead is nice if you can snag a keyboard, also Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament for your FPS needs. I've also enjoyed MDK2 and Fur Fighters is hard to find but also fun.

We're only scratching the surface here so whatever you can see or grab you won't be disappointed.

Record of Lodoss War is a pretty snazzy Diablo-a-like to consider. Takes place after the original anime series I believe.

Sonic Adventure has Sonic DX on GC, KoF 99 has KoF 98: UM on PS2, DoA 2 has DoA 2: Ultimate, etc.
