Ug, the "Movie" that came with the X-box version is nothing more than the major cut scenes pooly edited together from the first game. There is no narration or direction, it is NOT a good indicator of the game or the best way to catch up on the story. Suck it up and put the time in, it will click with you at some point and you will be hooked.

Shenmue and Shenmue 2 are some of my favorite games ever. In fact, I will play through Shenmue about every other year around Christmas time, because that game is so closely associated with that holiday for me. :)
