The guy was a collector (Im in Providence, RI btw), but he had grown too old for his stuff. I found the original invoice inside the box of the Saturn from when this guy imported it (He dropped $699 in December of 1994!!!) Other stuff he had that I looked at but passed up on (my bad or not, you decide) was:
Dreamcast (US) w/ 4 controllers, 2 VMU and a few other games for 30 bucks
Dreamcast (Jap) in box w/ 2 controllers, VMUs, Sonic Adventure (Jap) and some other games for 25 bucks
N64 w/4 controllers for 20 (no AV cable though)
A bunch of import and US N64 games in box, with one side of shrink wrap cut open, but kind of crushed, each for like 5 or 10 dollars
NES w/ everything (which I got) for 5 bucks
Jap Saturn w/ everything I got for 20
Lots of games for Saturn, NES, SNES, Dreamcast, N64 and Playstation (I would have got more if I had more dollars)
A broken xbox for 5 bucks
Lightguns for the Xbox or Saturn (I should have checked carefully instead of just ignoring them now that I found I have virtua cop)
SNES w/ official hard case and games and controllers for I think $20
In retrospect I should have just gone back and got alot more, but I went through my money for the week and got what I thought was the best there. The guy laughed when I told him I spent all my gaming money and said that that had happened to him many a time before. He also said that some guy had just called and offered to buy the whole thing, so Ill check again next week if they re-advertise the garage sale.
