I understand all about charm and not changing things "because this is the way it has always been" but...the place smells a bit like piss and the hotdogs I had last time were just absolutely nasty.
I've never been there personally. I'm not sure I ever care to either. Not like there aren't better places to go. The Cubby Bear is a pretty nice place. I haven't been to Harry Caray's but I've heard good things. Plenty of other bars in Wrigleyville without having to travel all the way out to the Tribune Towers.

They typically allow you in bars if you're with your parents. My only foray into the Cubby Bear was with my family.

What? Where?
Exactly. By law a bar is somewhere you can't enter if you're underage. If it has a separate eating area away from the bar area, then it's no longer a bar, it's a restaurant.

I've been in plenty of bars that allow minors. Some before a certain time(say 9pm) or a lot of college bars will stamp you if you were underage when you entered so the bartenders would know who they could serve and couldn't.

This varies from state to state.
Ah.
