Bulk Slash manual questions

Post by JoeAwesome »

Awhile back, I got a copy for cheap off of eBay. I noticed that the manual cover seemed glued onto the case, with a fold out on the inside instead of pages. Is the manual supposed to be that way, or is my copy messed up?

Nope, that's it. Although I bought one that was glued and one that wasn't. I'm guessing a local store sticks them to prevent people from grabbing them off the display cases? (The 'manual' is a fold-out regardless.)
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Yeah, I just mentioned in another thread that I recently got this game, and the manual is stuck. I have no idea at Hudson who thought that would be a good idea.

OK, so this is off-topic, but it's about the game. On the first level, I can pick up the copilot chick. I get to have a pretty girl drive around with me, and she constantly criticizes me and reminds me of my failures. It's just like marriage. Anyhow, if I save the game, turn off the Saturn, and then try playing a game starting at level 2, she's gone. So every time I play this, if I want the girl to help me, I have to start out at level 1 every time?

Dude that's trippy... I turned down a used copy years ago cuz it was glued. I can't believe it's that common.
 (FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

She's useful because she will tell you where to go, and there's a button to push to ask her for directions, similar to Burning Rangers. If you destroy multiple targets with a lock-on missile chain, she says, "That's wonderful!" But when you're getting hit, she's saying, "Look out! What do you think you're doing?" She's basically a back-seat driver, just like my wife. She just manages to be more charming about it.

crazy about the glued manual. It doesn't look glued in photos. I just messaged a seller as why in the world they would ship it like this - feel like a jerk now. Will correct my message.

Are there other games like this? The glue isn't even consistent :/

EDIT: and do we even call this a manual? It's a 2 page cover sheet. Odd.
