Seems silly to download Uncharted to me. It's single-player - eventually, you'll be done with it, and you won't even have the possibility of trading it in. UMvC3, BlazBlue, Unit 13 and other competitive type games seem like the ideal for downloading to the memory card.
By the way, just downloaded KOF:Orochi Saga for PSP and transferred it to the Vita from the PS3 - it works.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
finally played the Vita today at Best Buy. Played demos for Gravity Rush and Uncharted. It's definitely an amazing looking little bastard. And the analog sticks feel great. But I stand by my waiting because (A) there's still no games on it that I'd really want* and (B) I think $250 is too much for a handheld.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
I have way too many UMD games to buy this now. When it's hacked, I'll get one right away.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
Lumines Electronic Symphony is worth it for the soundtrack. But I agree on those fighters. Rayman Origins is also worth it if you'd like Rayman on the go.noiseredux wrote:finally played the Vita today at Best Buy. Played demos for Gravity Rush and Uncharted. Lumines I have on PS3 and PSP. I cant' see the soundtrack justifying $250 for the Vita. And Rayman Origins can be had on PS3 for $20.ZenErik wrote: Lumines Electronic Symphony is worth it for the soundtrack. But I agree on those fighters. Re: Playstation Vita thread
I'm not saying Lumines alone justifies the Vita purchase by any means. I've probably put about 15 hours on it so far, but if this were the only game that were ever worth buying for the Vita, I wouldn't have bought one, haha.noiseredux wrote:Lumines I have on PS3 and PSP. I'm very excited for a Project Diva game on the Vita as well as Gravity Rush/Daze. And I'll probably check out Persona 4 on the Vita whenever that arrives. We'll see what the future holds. I'm assuming there will be iDOLM@STER.
Yes, Rayman is cheaper on the PS3, but I mentioned Rayman because it's a great game, and it's a great game to have on the go. I don't really understand fighters on the go as much unless you are hardcore and need to practice for a tournament every chance you get. But Rayman is just a solid platform experience that works on any console/portable.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Has anyone mentioned how horrible the Vita's 3G implementation is right now? No online play, no Netflix, no PS Store, no Qriosity, nothing! The only things you can use are the browser and Facebook, both of which are pretty bad on the system.

The 3G version just seems like a ripoff at this point. It has so little utility.
Older. Not wiser.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
That sounds useless. What's the point of 3G if not for online play while not on wifi?lisalover1 wrote:Has anyone mentioned how horrible the Vita's 3G implementation is right now? I debated whether to go with a 3G model just in case I felt like trying it out in the future. I settled on the wifi model.. Perhaps there will be a Vita LTE ("4G") model eventually.
