So I got most of what I planned. I'm now interested in Lolipop Chainsaw, Mario Tennis Open, The Last Story, Resident Evil:Revelations, Starhawk, and Phantom Breaker.
Downloaded the SSX demo after you guys raved about it... I can see where the appeal is, but I think I'm gonna pick up Tricky or 3 on the cheap and see if this is really my type of game. The new one feels too fast for me and I don't think I fully understand the trick system yet, but then this is my first experience with an SSX game.
so I decided that SSX will wait for some price drops. The demo was great, but I've read some reviews that make me think the full game will get ball-bustingly difficult to the point of annoying. Which is the opposite of what I want an SSX game to be.
At any rate, my Hyperdimension mk-2 just came in this week along with Street Fighter x Tekken, so I've got those two to keep me busy for a while (plus Under Defeat HD...)
But I must say that the next game coming out that I'm really excited for is the HD port of Silent Hill 2. Yes, I know 3 is on there too, but it's 2 I'm looking forward to playing through right away.
...also should we kill this thread after March and start a Q2 thread or just rename this one to like "what 2012 games are you looking forward to?"?
Sure we can wrap it up,I kept meaning to tidy this thread up as the Qtr went along but was slacking.I can do one last update to the OP so if anyone wants to look back I have a nice spread sheet of whats been coming out w/some feedback on some of those games.
Maybe start up the 2nd Qtr thread by the end of this weekend.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
