Ways to Display My Collection
Re: Ways to Display My Collection
It looks like it might be the Wii VC release of SMB3
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I play my NES on my 32 inch HDTV, and it looks great (in my opinion). I've also never had a problem with how my Genesis looks.
I love going to school up here. It's a great university despite being a small public school.s1mplehumar wrote:::Off topic here:: I have family in Boone. Beautiful area.

No, it's actually through the NES. I have it hooked up with the video output on the side of the NES to that TV and not through the RF unit and I think out of all the retro consoles it looks the best on the big screen although most of the time I do play it on the CRT.Flake wrote:It looks like it might be the Wii VC release of SMB3
ElkinFencer10, where do you live when you aren't at school? When you say "up", I'm assuming someplace down the mountain? I'm pretty familiar with the area and sell nursery stock from down there up north here.

I live in Elkin. It's about an hour east on 421 in Surry County (and about 800 feet in elevation rather than Boone's 3333 feet, so it's considerably down when you think about how relatively short the drive time is).

About a half hour down the mountain from Blowing Rock. Actually some of the area you can look down on from Blowing Rock.

Theres lots of ways you can get shelving on the cheap. If anything if u get stuff that don't match you can get a gallon of black paint to make it all match, that really doesn't require skill.
Try the free section on craigslist, drive down alleys in your town and see what people are throwing out, goodwill and local thrift stores.
Also one you might have not tried is the Habitat for Humanity ReStore; http://www.habitat.org/cd/env/restore_d ... x?place=80

Also those shoe holders you put on the backs of doors work good to hold controllers and extra cords and things.
