Older. Not wiser.

Lol hmm these are all good suggestions and still fit into the thread defined life but I would agree with above quote go more with the solidified you into the hobby or had the greatest influence on you as a gamer or otherwise. It doesn't even have to be the game you like most although my guess is games that had the greatest influence would be the ones you likedRyaNtheSlayA wrote:I interpreted it as the top games that solidified you into the hobby.
As an example Final Fantasy 7 I failed my GCSEs at the time it had a massive influence on ma life and i didn't know I could get so addicted to a game. Had to retake GCSE's at the time =P

I know I can't be the only one who actually thinks that this thread was about the top 10 games that defined my life, not my hobbies, habits, or tastes. I think Key-Glyph's was along that way too. The games I listed were meaningful, which is why e.g. MK64 didn't actually make the cut, even though it's been a big part of my life.

We need to change the title to "Argue about what this thread is about."

Ha, yeah, no, it's cool, I like that your initial aim. It just seems that everyone wants to reinterpret it, but I think what you had in mind is cooler. Similar to Key-Glyph's comment on Ecco, the games I listed became a part of me.msimplay wrote:Its cool that's why I said honorable mentionso.pwuaioc wrote:I know I can't be the only one who actually thinks that this thread was about the top 10 games that defined my life, not my hobbies, habits, or tastes. Hoy. What is your life than the sum of your hobbies, habits and tastes?o.pwuaioc wrote:I know I can't be the only one who actually thinks that this thread was about the top 10 games that defined my life, not my hobbies, habits, or tastes.

Oh, sure, but we're talking about the sum here, not each component.pakopako wrote:Hoy. I am fairly certain this is the best overall RTS game ever made. There were so many perfect design decisions made here. They took all of the best design from previous RTS games. It's been said before in regards to other games, but they truly did it here.o.pwuaioc wrote:Rise of Nations - My great time killer: I don't know how many hours I've played this game, but for the past six years, I've spent way too much time on this game. But still, it's fun, and my girlfriend and I are always looking for other people who like this game to come join in our games. Still don't quite find it definitive, though.
It's the only game that makes me consider bringing my PC out of my closet storage.
