I have trouble getting into the Blazblue games... got them both on the 360. They are the least played fighters I own and the only other fighter on the 360 I own is KOFXIII. Havent spent much time with them to be fare so gotta make some time and give them another try.
It's time to kick a$$ and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of gum.

I've known several people here who have said the same initially, but after I urged them to stick with have totally fallen for the BB games. They are nothing like SNK or Capcom fighters, so you have to unlearn what you know. Luckily, BlazBlue has a great tutorial mode. Try that for a while and you'll probably end up loving them too.

So true about the unlearning of everything I know. I'm more of an snk fan than capcom but the BB games are nothing like them two. I wish all other fighting games included the mechanics tutorial, KOFXIII has a good one too but not as thorough as BB. Even though I suck at BB I still find myself enjoying getting my a$$ handed to me on normal difficulty. First gotta get an arcade stick for the 360.

I might randomly go out and buy Extend tomorrow (PS3, anyone game?)... it's been awhile since I've played BlazBlue. I need to get my Hazama on. I really want to know what versions of CS are available though (patch/balance change wise), I love how the CS port gives you the option to pick what version you want to play.

at first I wasn't interested, but I'm thinking of getting it myself soon. I'd really like to try all the added characters. But ideally, I'd like the LE so I could get the soundtrack too.

Lucky for you this limited edition actually appears limited. Prices are already higher than the original $60 on Amazon. Perhaps GameStop will have it for the regular price. If you pre-ordered from Amazon it would have been $40. Just felt like reminding you again.

So I did go out and buy this, and wow. They did not skimp out on the story mode. This is easily the best BB release yet. Love the new challenge mode too, challenge mode was pretty much my favorite part of CS, aside from actually playing. I love how every console release is geared towards providing more and more single player content.

One great thing about BB is how deep the characters are. Every character has so much depth. I think I'm going to step outside my realm of comfort and stop using the same old characters and try to master some new ones. Litchi and Arakune are two characters I really need to get into, they are so effective but a little intimidating. Arakune players usually mop the floor with my Hazama, so learning the ins and outs of Arakune would definitely help with that too.

Litchi is awesome if you know what you're doing (which I don't). But I'd like to learn her too. I've used Taokaka a bit, and find her pretty great. Ugh, you're killing me though. I feel like I do want this upgrade even though it bugs me to re-buy games.

Stay strong Noise. We'll wait for BlazBlue 2: The Game That Is Actually A True Sequel.
