recommended adventure games on saturn?
turned-based rpg's just don't do it for me (especially those cursed random battles!). i really love legend of oasis/story of thor since it's very similar to link to the past on super nes (my all time favorite game) and landstalker on genesis/mega drive. does anyone know of more adventure games like oasis? or perhaps rpg's without random battles?
Shining Wisdom?

I know it's not a Saturn title, but you say Link to the Past is your favorite game: Neutopia on TurboGrafx and it's seminal sequel Neutopia 2. The best Zelda rip-off ever.
For Saturn, Shining Wisdom sounds most like what you're looking for, but you might want to look into Shining the Holy Ark, Enemy Zero or D.

TimeStalkers was originally going to be called Climax Landers, so it would seem you're right. And TimeStalkers is also not very good.Mozgus wrote:I was about to say that. Really? A friend of mine sat here and played it for a few hours and liked it. I haven't done more then test that it works. Bought it for $5. Unfortunately, the first cutscene in the game seems to go mute until you get to play. Hope the rest of the game isn't jacked up.SegaVega wrote:TimeStalkers was originally going to be called Climax Landers, so it would seem you're right. And TimeStalkers is also not very good.
Aside from some character cameos from older Stalker titles, and decent first-gen graphics, I found the game's only merit to be the VMU titles you can download. Then you can turn off the game and go buy new batteries after it slaughters them in a half an hour. Oh, and K-Mart preorders came with a shirt as well.
