I just got the new Adventure Time DVD that came out today for $13. Good times, good times...avrame wrote:Frown: Adventure Time DVDs are 4 episodes for $20-30 on Amazon, and my internet was lagging tons last night (from the usual 2 MB/s to 300 KB/s) so I couldn't play Black Ops while my wife watched Hulu

Frown: Nick Stoller and James Bobbin. For now.

Frown: Will power snapped and I ordered Street Fighter X Tekken this morning...even though I have definitely spent all of my 'fun money' for this pay check already. Next pay check, too.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Smile: I'm currently content, and as far as I know, over recent problems.
Frown: TAKS (standardized test for Texas) in the morning. I can't sleep in my first 3 periods now...

Ticked: Lost my voice randomly on Saturday night and still can't talk normally.
Double ticked: My laptop's hard drive failed last night.
Smile: I'm lucky to work in IT and have an awesome boss that'll transfer my files for me while I order a new drive.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Ticked - House we wanted sold
Smiled - Found another house that is almost as good, for 80k less, only 3 miles further down the road.
Ticked - New house is on a dirt road and does not have a proper outbuilding for a workshop/soundstage
Smiled - New house is on less hilly land and we have a bulldozer and backhoe.
Ticked - New house is siding, not brick
Smiled - Girl is going to go look at it today with her uncle who is a general contractor and he is going to give it the two over and see what needs to be done and the cost for his group to brick it. There is coax running down the street so proper highspeed should be doable.
Smiled - first round of packages from my work bonus come in today. Im hoping for boardgames, but itll probably be my shotgun mic and audio adapters for Momocon.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Smile: Going to celebrate my three year anniversary with my lovely wife later today. Meeting with a chef later to finalize the dinner menu, but other than that all is planned and ready to go (finished her book/present last night).
More smiles: An Asian market opened in my city so now I won't have to purchase my Asian foods from a restaurant. Plus, the market sells homemade kimchi that is out of this world. Some of the napa cabbage is so thick that I believe the lady who makes the kimchi also uses bok choy. I love King's kimchi, but this stuff is way better.
Frown: SF x Tekken looks like SF IV with cartoony Tekken characters. It doesn't look like two different realities colliding, which is what I expected. There are so many ways the designer could have had a lot of fun with this game, but so far I don't sense any real Tekken qualities in the game. BUT! Who knows? I don't rate games until I play 'em.
