SF1 did have way better music though and really is at least every bit as good a game as 64, if not better. But I still love 64 soooooo much, even with its flaws.
Plus, 64 is still always going to be lightyears better than every single game that came after it.
COCKY LITTLE FREAK
Yeah I don't mind the voice acting in either game.
I've officially given up on Star Fox for a while. I've been playing it again, but I can't get all the way through level 3. I know I could do it with a few more attempts, but it's a harsh game.
I blazed through level 1. Level 2 required three tries. I am on my third try of level 3 and reached the large ship where you have to shoot these tiny panels that open and close. I just can't seem to do it without crashing into the ship or getting hit by fireballs.
This is one of those games that is exponentially easier if you never die. Getting through the game with double upgraded blasters is a breeze. Bosses die very quickly, and its much easier to hit small enemies. I also discovered another benefit of the upgraded blasters: they don't reflect off of enemies. So you can shoot with impunity at the "spinning blades boss" (I don't recall the actual name).
You can take a break by finding the special level on route 1 that leads to route 2, as well as finding the special level in route 3 that drives you into buying a breathalyzer for yourself
