What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I do agree with you on this.
All forums ebb and flow, and shifting focus, interest, and membership is a part of that. These forums certainly still stand head and shoulder above most any other gaming forum I've been in, and there are some very solid people here who I consider my friends (not just in the "internet-friends" sense of the term, either).

When a mod starts finding that the focus has shifted enough to make it difficult to want to keep their finger on the pulse on the forum (e.g. read most threads on a regular basis to stay on top of things), then it bears to reason that they should step down. In other words, even if "ignore thread" was a feature, mods don't really get the option to do that because of the nature of the position...

This is why I would love to see a "ignore thread" feature.
I had something in store for at least one of them. You guys should stay tune.

I still don't see how people cannot see any good in seeing recommendations for good games, though. :?:

Sometimes, I just want to blow my head off with a shotgun.

Just so much crap. Too many people to push me to do one thing, while I don't want to. Others pushing me away from what I want to do. And then there's my poor friend Chance, who when I say comments like the first, gets so scared because he thinks I actually might do it, even though I never could.

And then Tyler, he keeps pushing me to everything. I mention a girl is pretty? He tries to get me with her. One, I even sent a few facebook messages. He kept telling me to send more, then told me I 'shot myself in the foot' when she said that she didn't like it. He pushes me to do many other things, but girls is the one he is biggest on right now.

Shells as in shotgun shells. I'm not sure if you misunderstood or were trying to be funny. Sorry.

More like you're going crazy dark and he's trying to inject some levity. Just take some deep breaths, friend. You will get through this in one piece, whatever it is.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

About $22 at Walmart. Do you already have the gun? That'll be another $150-$600.

And for goodness sakes, do it upwards through the mouth! None of that side-of-the-head nonsense.

A suggestion: why not become emo instead of shooting yourself? Emo is less permanent.

At those prices, I'll just stay alive.

Don't scare your friends Forlorn Drifter. If you really thought you were going to kill yourself, you should tell someone. If you know you're not, what's the point in making a comment like that?

Yes I have the gun, no I will not become emo.

I would never do it. Many, many reasons not to. Its just dealing with all this crap sometimes gets to me. I just need to go out somewhere and load a .45 auto into some human shaped targets while listening to death metal.

I do think mods should be reading threads but I'm not sure about having to read most of them. I would think users would be using "report post" when a thread is inappropriate or out of control.
