What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'm always open to being a mod, but I know I'm not next in line.

Not saying you've been a bad mod. You're better than any Gamefaqs mod I've encountered (big compliment, I know.)

I actually have been enjoying Racket more than ever, but thats because now I am actually discussing games with you guys in the Shmup of the Month thread and High Score threads. We are actually getting into the nitty and gritty of these games, and the discussions and friendly competition is awesome.

I see the same complaints across most of the forums. Whether its become better or worse over all, I'll be happy just talking with folks like Mjmjr, Noise, Dsh, ZenErik, and all you great guys that use this place to get away from all the crap of the real world.

However, I would love to meet some new faces.

Smile: Apparently I am not the only one who is growing weary of the endless top 100 lists.

Smile: Beautiful day today

Frown: Will power is low...going to procrastinate on going to the grocery store...again.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

They wouldnt let me be a mod at Gamefaqs even though I knew their TOS better than the guys that were interviewing me. Granted this was back in 02...

It's only gotten worse since then. Nowadays they ought to get some mods for the mods.

I know the feeling. I think by default, that should be covered by the admins unless you specifically put someone in place.

So you're that guy who decides what the top boards are for the Ngage or Tiger handhelds.

Nope. I mostly go to the GBA Social board (which I was the fifth person to post on), but I lurk on a couple others, PS3 Skylanders for one. Despite what may be present here, I use to know a helluva lot about the GBA and was considered a very knowledgeable figure on the hardware and titles. To the point that I ghost wrote a couple articles for a coupel big websites about it. That and the GP32, that was a fun little device. I also use to be on their Palm Pilot board alot, but I dont think that even exist anymore...

This is why I would love to see a "ignore thread" feature.
