Another game I used to see many stages on w/ the 2600.

Now I can not do any better than getting out of Level 3, but I'm gonna play it now and see if I can stop being so rusty.

Sorry guys. Totally fell down on the Nibbler challenge! What a competition, though.

I've just got a new computer and will be getting my MAME running on it shortly. I'm excited for Q*bert! I've always meant to look into this game.

Excellent! Q*Bert really is a fun game. Just don't play it for too long. I think if I end up playing for more than an hour at a time, I might just pause it and go back later. The game is too screwy for me to even attempt to last past that.

I don't think I'm 120K material yet, but this is a good first time out.

This was Level 3-2 or 3-3. Patience pays off, hit the bottom squares first, and get every 500 bonus you can from the flying disks

So this is a thing that ended? I guess I win. I couldn't up my own score and it doesn't appear anyone else could either.

I'll try to come up with a new game later tonight.

EDIT: Finally beat my own score after it ended. By a lot. Got to Level 8.

Sadly, I never had a chance to get back to it. I had the chops to stay in the race with you in Nibbler, but I would not have the patience to play as far as you did in Q*Bert. Good trip back to the past, but hoping the next title is a bit more engaging :)

It defaults as Yes/On, so I'm leaving it there. Does come in handy :D

I guess that, again, I will be the first to submit a score.

And yes, as per the rules (see the rules spoiler in the OP), end of level pepper should be on.
