Wclem game "home"

Post by wclem »

Well here is an update to my collection of sorts. I am still working on some things like my living room setup. Waiting on new switch boxes to sort cables. Also the game collection room is in need of a good clean up. Some sorting and such.

Not pictured are my multiple duplicates of consoles. I have more PS1s and Dreamcast than I know what to do with LOL. Seriously though, I missed quite a few multiples and some Atari's and a PC Engine. Also missed most of my handhelds, all of my Game Gear stuff. PC stuff is not shown either. I have also amassed about 700 loose game disc, some I have case that I need to match up and some are just waiting to be found. You would be surprised how many games I have completed with parts from multiple sources.

Lastly the plastic bins are loaded with controllers, power bricks and all sorts of hook ups. There is also another bin with over 200 GB games and another large one for just N64 controllers.

I need to do a YouTube video tour to get everything in.

Very nice collection, I especially like all the boxes you have with the Nintendo games. I do think it is slightly unorganized, but nice, nonetheless.

A couple of questions.
Where do you get your posters?
Why are the Odama and LoZ:Four Swords boxes so thick on that one shelf?
Could we possibly get a better picture of the Gamecube collection? I love the Gamecube and seeing what people buy for it.

Actually most of them are Gamestop displays, and the older ones are Nintendo Power inserts.

The LOZ and Odama are how they came packaged.

I am re-organizing currently, seems like everytime I get caught up I get more stuff LOL. I will be redoing this thread at some point. There have been people wanting to see the stuff though so I threw this together for them.

Hmm. Did LOZ and Odama come packaged with other items? The copies I've always seen have been normal sized...

I don't know about Odama, but LOZ is a pack in with the GBA GC link cable!

I believe Odama comes with a mic also.

Geeze....I'm always impressed with my own 450 game collection, and then I see this....Holy crap, dude. Other than the number of boxes you have, I think the most impressive part is the massive number of Saturn games. You cannot imagine the envy I feel right now....

Ha. I feel my single shelf of games is pretty impressive. Then I see people with hundreds of games and feel slightly inferior.

It has taken me years to get to this point and I have a long ways to go. A lot of those Saturn games on that rack are clunkers I keep mainly for the spare cases. The better ones are scattered here and there with other groups. Also a few were not pictured.

Dont think any less of your own collections. Be it one game or 5000 everyone should be proud of any collection they put effort into. You should be as proud of yours as I am of mine. This is a hobby we share with each other and no collection is better than any other. What is important is what we as collectors share. :D
