Yeah, their prices do tend to range from either ridiculously over-priced to super steal. I'm actually convinced that they re-price their games every few weeks or so. Because one week, I'll walk in one of their stores and want to grab everything off the shelf and put it in my basket cause they're all dirt cheap. Then a few weeks later, I'll visit that same store and be totally disgusted by their prices and come out empty handed.
The Cash Converters shop in my town is like this. For example, they had two loose copies of Star Wars Arcade 32X. One was $3, the other? $15.

I pointed this out to the owner, who is a complete tit who breathes over the shoulders of pretty much anyone he sees going through the 8/16-bit game case. He says, "I guess you are just lucky." How am I lucky to pay regular market value on a common game????? $3-5 is correct for that game, not $15! That was last summer. The $15 copy is STILL there, because nobody is stupid enough to pay that much for a cheap and common game.

They literally (I've seen them do this and had it explained to me by an employee) check on ebay whenever they get games in that they don't "think" they know the prices for, and then add a dollar or two to compensate for "shipping." I guess the odd idiot who prices things there must mistakenly prices based on a starting bit. I once got a CIB pair of SMS 3-D glasses from there for $10.

Yard sales got rained out today but these finally came in the mail:

$28.43 shipped on ebay!!

I think the reason I won these at such a low bid was because the seller not only had 0 feedback in the last year, but he was selling these as "untested". But I contacted the guy after I won and he was very nice, even kept me updated with shipping info (which a lot of sellers don't bother to do) and here they are, tested AND working like a charm. :D

And yes, someone drew a mustache on Diddy Kong. lol

Isn't that Superman suppose to be one of the worst games ever?

Diddy Kong Racing being included in that lot makes up for it though. I love that game, and I always liked it over Mario Kart 64. Mickey's Speedway USA is another N64 game made by Rare. I've watched some YouTube videos and it looks like it could be fun, but I never tried it. I'll probably still like Diddy Kong Racing more anyway.

Diddy Kong Racing is good in my opinion. I've been playing it a little lately. Half of those games are ones I already have, the whole reason I wanted the lot was for Harvest Moon.

Does anyone know what it is? Inside is super mint, looks like it was never even played. Took a chance for 15 bucks though.

Tenshi no Uta: Shiroki Tsubasa no Inori.
It's a traditional RPG. I've never played it, so I really can't tell you any more about it. The company name at the bottom left is Telenet Japan.

Same company that put out Genesis/Sega CD shmups like Gaiares, Arrow Flash, Whip Rush, Sol Feace, and some popular PC Engine/TG-16/CD games like the Cosmic Fantasy series and the Valis games.
