Fans of "Treasure Co. Ltd" videogames

Hardcore Gaming 101 has, in their recent 6/24 update, reviewed a good portion of Treasure's library. Check it out if you're a fan:

http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/index.html

"To commemorate them being so rad, HG101 presents a super look at most of Treasure's gameography - Gunstar Heroes, Light Crusader, Dynamite Headdy, Guardian Heroes, Alien Soldier, Mischief Makers, Radiant Silvergun / Ikaruga, Bangai-O, Yuyu Hakusho / Bleach DS, Silhouette Mirage, Rakugaki Showtime, Sin and Punishment, Astro Boy: The Omega Factor, and Stretch Panic. This obviously isn't every game they've done...it's missing McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure (will probably be featured in a MickeyD's themed bit later down the line), Wario World (because it'd probably fit in better with a Wario article), and Hajime no Ippo for the GBA and Dragon Drive for the Gamecube (not particularly notable.) And of course there's Gradius V, already covered elsewhere. I know that when mainstream mags do an article on Treasure, they're desperately trying to prove their street cred, but I think this assemblage is better than the lot of them. I'm also happy that I got NullDC working, because frame buffer perfect captures of Ikaruga looks absolutely gorgeous, even at standard def. Bangai-O looks shocking good too - it really stands out even more when compared to the rather dull looking N64 game (which is not the superior version! Despite what people may lead you to believe!)"

Out of everything from them, I regret to say I've only played Gunstar Heroes.

Been looking for a couple of their games for years, but they're impossible to find in this country.

Those are indeed some good reviews. I think I've read them before, are they new or is it just a new blurb from today with links to articles they had written before? Anyway, a good resource.

I'm sad that I've never played Alien Soldier.

I've played all of those except Bleach DS and I own most of them (except YuyuHakusho and Stretch Panic). :D

I've got that bookmarked for now and will be reading it when I find the time. Treasure is a great company and have produced so many quality games over the years, it's a testament to their passion for gaming that release after release is stellar.

Thanks for the link.

Dynamite Headdy is the only game that really comes off the top of my head when it comes to Treasure. Now THAT was a great 16 bit game.

Awesome, awesome, awesome

That site rocks, and is mandatory reading for any retro gamer in my opinion. I'm glad it looks like Mischief Makers got a good review. That game is very underrated
