@Chaz - if that thing is running at $300 - grab it. You can part out the CP for close to that? If it has a working power supply and good or better condition CP, theres $300 - a decent bezel, coin doors / mech, and chassis - another $100+ EASY.

Hell, i'd actually consider minor IN-GAME burn for the price, and just use as a parts cab once you get a better monitor (and this assumes the monitor isn't very good, which it may be).

I have a boner for you. Well, not "for you - for you", but "for you"...boy, no way to say this really. Let's do this. I am excited at the prospect of playing side by side on the same games bruv. Side by side being 2K miles apart of course.
Rofl, yet another new sig I must have.

Thats what I was thinking man. It really seems like a good deal, and he is local. Its gonna be hard to pass up, and I already have more than enough in PP. Damn, yo have so many pcbs I want, that you happened to have Dragon Blaze AND Dimahoo already is.... just not fair! Ha ha

Dude, I feel like a girl at prom night. Totally ready to lose my cab-ginity.

@brunoath: I think this is a great game to get into scoring with. The system is fairly intuitive, not like trying to score in Dodonpachi, where copying a superplay to the tee would be by far the quickest way to progress (although not the most fun).

Yikes, didn't mean to clutter the thread with OT cab talk. I guess Dragon Blaze pcb discussion was in there, but still

Yeah, loose pcb's. I got mine loose off shmups for $225 shipped.

I think CRI (dude in GERMANY w/scary ass avatar) got a mostly complete kit for $280.

If you want it now-now, $250 is the spot. If you just want it at some point, I think $200-220 is a good spot.

now would be a good time to thank bruno for creating what is probably the most exciting thread this forum has seen in months.

Thank you Bruno!

I love this thread, I want to move in a nice sofa so I can just chill in this thread.

Maybe a mini-fridge too.

Thats not bad, I may actually have enough for that AND the cab. Then no more MAME for me!

If you look at my forum stats, this is the thread I've posted the most in, and Shmups is my top sub forum.

It's the SCIENCE OF SHMUPS (TM)

And if we get more people into them, there's nothing wrong with that.

I love this thread and I love these games. I'm so stoked. I am cursing a lot more while playing, though .

Thanks dudes, glad everyone is having fun. It's only the third month too, lot's more to come.

BTW everyone, I'm going to be a little busy these next few days with some obligations, so if the scores aren't kept updated in the OP that's why.

That's something that has kind of kept me away from trying to get into scoring systems. Being apprehensive about it making the game more tedious/less fun or something. I'm sure there are plenty of scoring systems out there that end up adding a lot to the game and I'm missing out though.
