What did Dreamcast have TOO MUCH of?
Fighting games and bad 3d person action
Bad 3d person action games, and fighting games, tons of em.
I'll pass. The pirated version has all the CDDA music ripped out, and it's not selfboot either. And I have terrible luck selfbooting games.SegaVega wrote:Yeah, I'd say so. Sega Rally 2 is only a few dollars, and it is a piece of Sega/Dreamcast history. If you're only planning on downloading it though, then yeah, why not (er, unless 56k)?
Might as well add it to the collection...
The challenge is finding the $2 original without having to pay $5 in shippingSegaVega wrote:No harm in buying the two dollar original then.Mozgus wrote:I'll pass. The pirated version has all the CDDA music ripped out, and it's not selfboot either. And I have terrible luck selfbooting games.

Sega Rally is quite fun if you enjoy racing games. Because it's rally racing the tracks and cars feel a lot more slippery, naturally, but it's not quite as bad as Test Drive: V Rally in that regard. The game has some drawbacks in that it's not as pretty as some racing games but it handles just fine. And you can thank WinCE for the graphical downgrade. Still, it holds up well against the arcade overall.
I dunno about that. I loved the fact that my DC was getting the superior versions of so many games. I first tried Soul Reaver on PS1, but thought it was terrible. Then I tried it on DC and was amazed.arion wrote:there werent to many of them but why did they have to make these ugly psx ports. It was no classic, but I thought the same thing with Shadowman. All the multiplatform 2D fighters played much better and more faithully on Dreamcast as well, the often argued KOF 99Evo included.Mozgus wrote:I dunno about that. Well at the time the dc was a next gen system and therefore any game ported from the psx should have had a major graphic remake. While i agree with soul reaver being better on the dc than the psx you still felt like you were playing psx game on the dc. I would have liked to see new and better looking character models and much better textures. But frankly the only notable thing was the higher resolution wich i take for granted.Mozgus wrote:I dunno about that. I loved the fact that my DC was getting the superior versions of so many games.
