I don't think name-calling is needed here. Calm down.

LOL, same thing happened to me. And I mean the same... I bought The Baja but got the original. Contacted the seller, shipped The Baja to me and I got to keep the original.

It does when they are $25. This is a far cry from your original claim of overcharging for shipping.

It does when they are $25. Care to make up any more things?
I never disputed they had free shipping on orders of 25 dollars or more I simply pointed out that they do charge shipping on purchases that do not equal $25, I fail to see how that is a lie.

I personally have great success with Lukie games. Their prices are fairly reasonable and they have great responsive service. I ordered a Sega screw bit and a Nintendo bit. They sent me two Sega bits. When I let them know they quickly apologized and sent the Nintendo bit, allowing me to keep the extra Sega bit. Their shipping is fast and as long as you spend 25 bucks the shipping is free. They offer 10% coupons to return customers and a rewards system that has scored me free games and plush Mario and Luigi dolls.
I have had good results from JJ games as well. They have great prices and as long as all goes well they provide great service. I think they are trying to fix their return policy( which comes up short) by addressing how they deal with mistakes, and how they can better meet expectations. Second spin is another company that has games and cd's and videos for sale at reasonable prices. Great input from everyone, except the angry posters who make everything personal, you know who you are.

I'm going to be a shill and suggest our site: http://videogameexperiment.com

We've had quite a few members of racketboy order from us. It's always free shipping and since we are non-profit all of the money you spend goes right back into getting more quality games. Plus all pictures of the game on the site are of the actual copy of the game you will receive.

The web's first video game public library! http://videogameexperiment.com rents all games for free and sells them for less than Ebay and Amazon! Plus we take anything in on trade-in.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for this thread. I have been looking for decent online alternatives to Ebay/Amazon/Half.com for a while, and the sites that are listed as "5" have really good selection and better prices than the auctions. Trade N Games is my favorite so far, and I hope to order from them in the future.

What are the grades on the first post based on? It seems that if someone likes a site, they just rate it a "5". Maybe the format I used in this post could be used. I make four areas, each with a grade out of 5. Then took the rounded-up average to give an overall grade out of 5.

Mini-reviews:

I've used both Lukiegames and Collectors, Cards & Games very recently.

Lukiegames:4.5/5
Selection: 3.5/5
Decent selection. They have the Nintendo systems, Genesis, Saturn, DC, PS1/2/3, X-Box and that's about it. They have an Atari, PSP and NGPC section, but nothing available. NONE of their Genesis stuff is boxed, which is a shame. I have called them before, and they are looking to get boxed Genny stuff available, as well as Game Gear, 32X and TG-16. I would hope Sega CD as well, but we'll see.

Service: 5/5
Excellent service! I did have a wrong game sent once, but they fixed it right away and sent the proper game and let me keep the wrong one. They take 2 weeks to ship from Florida to me in Canada, which is acceptable. Not the fastest, but they do offer expedited shipping if you want it. They give "Lukie points" with your order, that you can use towards a few select items. If they do not have an item you want, but it is listed, you can be put on an email list and will be notified once it's back in stock. They also give a 10% off coupon that is good for a month. Free shipping over $25 within the US/Canada! Yay! Most other places are free shipping over $50, and USA only.

Price: 3.5/5
Not the cheapest, but comparable to other shops. Some higher end games are stupidly expensive. $185 for a loose Earthbound? No thank you. $15 for NES Bubble Bobble? At least that is the going rate. Their "sale" prices are actually their regular prices, but fluctuate weekly it seems. Keep checking their site to find the best deal.

Website design: 5/5
Wonderful and easy to use. You can use Paypal or credit card.

Overall: 4.5/5

Collectors, Cards & Games:3.5/5

Selection: 4/5
Very good selection, including stuff like TG-16, 3DO, Jaguar, etc. This guy has games for systems that a lot of other sites don't. Not a full selection on stuff like the TG-16, but at least he has the basics here.

Service: 2/5
Not really the best service. He comes off as a bit lazy, although this does seem to be a side job for him so he doesn't really get stuff done too quickly. He has literally taken 2-3 MONTHS to fill a large order I had. He used moving as an excuse, but as a business this is not acceptable. He had MANY items listed on his site that he had not unboxed from moving yet. If he didn't have them currently available, he should have no had the listed. Even before his move, he has been lazy to update his inventory list. You might order something, only for him to respond that he doesn't have it. VERY annoying! He is honest, at least, and will not screw you over. When I need to mention that as a pro, I am digging. His professionalism is really lacking. No free shipping at all, when most other places at least offer free shipping over $50 within USA. I guess he makes up for no free shipping with low prices.

Price: 5/5
Honestly, he has some of the best prices around. This, plus a decent selection of stuff, is why I put up with his bad service. Some things, like Sega CD Snatcher, is $140. This is one of the few things that are probably prices a bit high. That's a minor gripe, though. I rate him 5/5 here.

Website design: 2.5/5
Welcome to 1997! Seriously, his site design is really antiquated. Instead of clicking on things and adding them to my shopping card, I have to copy/paste or manually type everything out into his order form or email. Annoying! At least it is easy to navigate and read through. No clutter or advertisements!

Overall: 3.5/5
NOTE:I do not recommend ordering from here for maybe another couple months. He just moved before Christmas and still is not organized. MANY of his games listed on his site are packed away, and he is very slow at getting orders ready. The 3.5/5 mark only applies to this site when the owner is fully functional. Right now, he is not fully functional.
