Good game stores in Florida?

Post by winds »

Hey guys,
I'm taking a trip to Florida from the great North and was wondering if there are any good game stores in the area? I am in Fort Lauderdale, but rented a car. Though I don't want to stray too far out of my way. Any suggestions?
Cheers!

I don't know anything up north but there is a ton of great game stores in the Tampa Bay area with lots of retro and imports.

RU games at the Brandon mall has a ton of awesome stuff and lots of import games, a candy cab and lots of retro stuff. They also have a location by USF on Fowler with the same stuff.
Big Top flea market has about 3 retro stands with some ok stuff, I've actually had a couple great deals there.
Play n Trade in tampa on Dale Mabry used to have a good selection on retro stuff but not as much lately.
M+M games in Largo has tons of retro stuff and good prices.
Retro+ gamer is this appointment only game store in Palm Harbor with some cool stuff but it's uber sketchy.
Wagon Wheel flea market in Pinellas Park has lots of retro game sellers, I've been going there a lot lately.
Play n Trade in Palm Harbor has more retro stuff then the tampa store, I haven't been there in a while though.
Game Attic in the lakeland mall has so much cool stuff you'll be drooling but the prices are so ridiculous.
There's also a couple cool stops in Orlando but I'd have to research their names again because I haven't been out there in a while.
