Yep, it will passively passthrough the PC inputs if the box is off.

ViewSonic Nextvision N6. Look it up on a search engine, I have one, and it works pretty well. Only takes one input source, not multiple game systems, but handles everything I threw at it.

Inputs:
VGA, composite video, component video, svideo, stereo audio (red + white), PC audio (mini jack), TV tuner (RF)
Outputs:
Speaker out (mini jack), headphone out (in front), Vga out

Comes with a remote, allows you to switch between the PC input, game input and tv input. Does NOT support 1080 resolutions, but otherwise, works like a dream. Just hook up a game switch box to the inputs, and you are golden.

so, the Viewsonic really does seem awesome and very much what I'm looking for. However, it seems to have a bit of cultish following, causing them to still go for $100+ on eBay since they are no longer in production or as common. Just curious if anybody knows of a similar device that might be a little easier (read: cheaper) to get a hold of? I mean, if there's nothing else that's as quality, I don't mind continuing to wait for a a Viewsonic, but can't help but wonder...

well took a few months, but finally snagged one at a good price. Dude, this thing is GREAT! I used an AV splitter so I have my PS2 and PSP running into this thing. So great to finally have my PSP running on my Acer LED monitor. Really, really happy with this bastard.
