Yeah rateyourmusic is awesome, I use that too. I use rfgeneration for my video games and myanimelist my for anime/manga.

I've also been apprehensive about adding things back to rfgeneration. I lost a LOT of data when the site went down and I would hate to add it all back just to lose it again.

I'd love a video game collection site similar to RateYourMusic

There's a link to it in my music&movies link thing in my sig. It doesn't actually work all that well for movies (that part of the site's in beta), but I love using it to keep up with my music collection.

EDIT: vgcollect looks nice, though the layout of the site feels a little cramped. If it's simple to add games though I might use it anyway

Oh no problem. I built the site basically out of frustration caused by all of the other options out there. I just wanted something simple and accurate and fortunately others seem to enjoy it.

Also for those looking for vain, shelves are coming to VGCollect soon.
