Smile: Bought myself a little treat
Meh: Decided to wait on the Vita. The kick in the teeth is battery life, and the fact that since it's not very portable, I likely wont take it anywhere. If I'm going to sit at home and play something, why would I play on a 5" cramped handheld system when I could just play one of my many other consoles or my PC?
Smile: Finals are here and feeling confident
Frown: This sociology final is taking forever!

I'm sure your being on Racketboy instead of working on your final has nothing to do with that.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Frown: This sociology final is taking forever!

Smiled - Work Merit bonus for last year is this Friday and about 10 times what I expected, blowing most of it on a mic or two. Looking at a AT-897 for my shotgun and either a Shure Super 55 or a Heil PR40 for my voice over.
Ticked - Been sick the past few days
Smiled - Convinced my boss at second job to buy a lot of rumble cases for random AV gear. Got a huge lot for much less than expected, 30ish random cases for less than the price of one new. Now tonight is figuring out which ones hold what and lining them with foam.

5 minutes isn't much compared to the 3 hours that this final has taken.BoringSupreez wrote:I'm sure your being on Racketboy instead of working on your final has nothing to do with that.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Frown: This sociology final is taking forever!

I'll have to try that tip. I pretty much stopped reading the NYT. If it was a little cheaper, I would definitely subscribe to the online edition. Ditto for the Wall Street Journal.BoringSupreez wrote:: NYTimes.com limits non-paying viewers to 20 articles per moth.
: I figured out how to keep reading articles after I use up my free allotment. Just press "Esc" as soon as the text you want to read loads.

It was as much a financial decision as any. I'm sure in a few months I'll have one.dsheinem wrote:booRyaNtheSlayA wrote: Meh: Decided to wait on the Vita.

So for those that don't know (probably everyone here), Hot Wheels have random enhanced cars mixed in the cases called 'Treasure Hunts'. These usually have slightly different wheels, paint, and decals than normal cars. Of course these are usually worth a little bit more than the regular cars to collectors as they're rare. I have a few TH cars, but they all came from ebay or car people at the flea market who either order cases of cars for themselves or know exactly what day new cars are stocked at the stores and usually scoop them all up.
Even rare are the Super Treasure Hunt cars which are the same cars as the TH ones, but different decals again as well as rubber tires on fancy rims. I found my first Treasure Hunt car in the wild tonight and it was a super.
The normal version of the '73 Falcon XB looks like this. It is the car used in Mad Max and I have one.

This is the Super TH version.

Nice! Is the number in the bottom right the number made?Hobie-wan wrote:So for those that don't know (probably everyone here), Hot Wheels have random enhanced cars mixed in the cases called 'Treasure Hunts'.
