Don't neglect audio though, if you want a decent experience, don't skimp on the audio. You will regret it later. Concentrate on getting the TV you want first though. Don't sacrifice your budget for the audio system for the sake of getting a bigger screen. Plus you have to factor in the viewing distance. Look at this guide. Getting a TV that is too large for your viewing distance is a waste of money and will cause health problems in future (ie having to tilt your head too much/eye strain from pixelation). So don't think you have to get the largest penis HDTV. It's pointless getting a huge TV if you're going to sit 3 feet away from it.

I definetly won't skip the audio. I'm thinking like a 28" since I'll be sitting on my bed on the other side of the room.
