I've always liked old hardware like that, just for the novelty value. My roommate has the Bioshock LP. It's pretty awesome.

Great stuff as always!
You have to love 8 tracks. You knew you'd get to hear all of the first song (except In-A-GaddaDaVida
) but after that

Re: My console systems and games collection.
Nothing out of the ordinary here, just a few N64 VHS promo vids.
I have to say some of the content on these tapes is unintentionally hilarious.

So as I said, nothing particularly special here,.....except for what I paid.
Six boxed promo vids with their various inserts + a complete Indy Jones N64 game (bottom of last pic).
All for the equivalent of around $7.50.
A little bit of advice to all potential sellers,
except for when I'm interested in your listing
,try not to spell nintendo as "ninetndo"

Re: My console systems and games collection.
Not quite sure exactly which clone system is in there, but the thing scores a few points in my book for the novelty factor alone. lol
Has 30 built-in games. All decent. And so far, every Famicom and NES (using an adapter) game I've thrown at it, works fine.
A nice touch is the integrated universal power supply. So saves me the hassle of looking for power adapters and step-down voltage converters.

An oddball type system. Swedish criminal. Ties to the Mafia.
How can one resist such a mix?
Quite impressed with it, actually.
For it's time it did sport some unique features.

Re: My console systems and games collection.

Picked it up at the Post Office a couple days ago.
Not much but it's a start.
I've kinda always wanted to experience the pre-Master System console years of Sega. So now I got a little taste of it.

Re: My console systems and games collection.
You certainly have one of the neatest collections I've seen. Just lots of neat stuff.
Sell me your Sega CD model 1 for real low cheap.

Thanks. That's me, Mr Neat.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:You certainly have one of the neatest collections I've seen. Just lots of neat stuff.
Oh man what I went through to get that model! lolRyaNtheSlayA wrote:Sell me your Sega CD model 1 for real low cheap.
here's the long/short story of it's journey to me:
-Seller took two weeks to ship and then charged me for Express shipping but send it via a much cheaper shipping method,
-It was then mistakenly returned to that US seller,
-then somehow got re-routed to Nigeria,
-finally after a month and a half came in South Africa but from the Cape Town side (I'm over at the other end of the country in Johannesburg),
-took another week to be routed to Johannesburg,
-then the customs duty officials stamped a hefty but incorrect customs duty fee on it,
-had to be returned to customs to be reassessed, that took another week,
-by the time it reached my local Post Office the box holding the unit was almost in tatters,
-the Post Office worker that handed it over to me from behind the counter slipped and dropped the box, damaging the front facial portion of the unit,
aaand finally I took it home.
After all that abuse and it still works like a champ. No skipping or other issues with reading discs, laser is 100% functional. Even the motorized tray works like it should.
So you'd excuse me after all that if I'm a little attached to that unit, and won't be selling it to you.
