Re: BlazBlue series thread
I haven't had a chance to touch Extend yet, but how does Relius play? Videos made him seem like he plays similar to Jotaro or Dio from the JJBA fighting game. Is he as hard to use as Carl?

Just got back from Katsucon, and the game was waiting for me. Hopefully I will play a bit today.
Getting the LE for $40 was sweet!

For anyone wondering if CS and CSE are compatible online it looks like the answer is no.
Relatively old article on it: http://www.siliconera.com/2011/09/27/so ... c-upgrade/

Will you be able to comment on what version of the game CS II Extend is and if there are any balance changes since CS II? I'll probably end up looking through the Dustloop forums to see what the deal is but hearing from someone directly with a copy of the game would be nice. CS 1.01/1.02 was my favorite version. I'm assuming CS II Extend is version 1.04 or something even past that I'm unaware of.

Re: BlazBlue series thread
from SiliconEra:
Arc System Works is bringing BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend to PSP with all of the modes found in the console/Vita versions. In fact, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend has a new mode just or PSP – BBQ mode. That’s not BlazBarbecue. BBQ is short for "BlazBlue Quiz," which will test how well you really know the BlazBlue series. Players will have to select the right answer from four multiple choice options.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend also has arcade, score attack, Unlimited Mars, training, challenge, abyss, gallery, and story mode with four new storylines. Players will be able to fight as Platinum the Trinity, Valkenhayn, Makoto, and Relius Clover on top of the other BlazBlue characters.
Re: BlazBlue series thread
FUCK. I want quiz mode on the PS3. I was thinking of getting the PS Vita version as well. The game looks ridiculously good on the PSV.

Re: BlazBlue series thread
I'm thinking I'll up upgrading to Extend for PS3 at some point. I really think all the extra characters would make CS even better than it already is.

Platinum the Trinity is the best.noiseredux wrote:I'm thinking I'll up upgrading to Extend for PS3 at some point. I really think all the extra characters would make CS even better than it already is.
I haven't even opened my copy of CS Extend yet, but it looks pretty. If you had pre-ordered from Amazon you would have gotten the LE for $40 with the soundtrack CD you were so interested in.
I read up on all the modes that are in CS Extend, and it does really sound like great bang for the buck. More so than any other fighting game I can remember.

Platinum is fun, but frustrating because she has such a wide variety of moves but all anybody does is spam her drive forever.ZenErik wrote:Platinum the Trinity is the best.noiseredux wrote:I'm thinking I'll up upgrading to Extend for PS3 at some point. I'll just say now that in my opinion, this is the best Blazblue yet, and is definitely my favorite version. Due to brokeness, I couldn't afford it, but my neighbor bought it and we have a blast with it every time we play it. I recommend anyone who wants to buy it does once it hits your price range.
