AND WITH THAT, I am officially excited. Having missed 3 and 4 because they were XBox/360 exclusives, I'm thrilled that DOA5 will make it to PS3. And dammit, look at that screenshot!!

Puuurrrdy...

I saw the alpha teaser trailer when it was announced a couple of months back, and this screenshot looks a lot sharper. I'm impressed.

Of course, I'm a guaranteed sell anyway, since I love the series.

I'm super excited though, and ready for a release date.

I think the most notable thing about that screen is how little skin is showing. Looks interesting, I haven't played DoA much since Ultimate 2.

Dunno, as a 360 man, I was happy with DOA 4 and even the 3DS one is a pretty good game. I am disappointed that the series is continuing on without Itagaki's leadership, makes me hesitant to continue supporting the line.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

I'm gonna have to disagree here, all friendly of course.

The 3ds game probably would not have been made at all if Itagaki was still around, and I'm not sure DOA5 would be either. He said on a couple of occasions that he considered DOA4 the perfect fighting game. What would be his motivation to continue the series if he really felt that way about it?

Things might meander a tad without him, but I think it'll give the series as a whole a good choice to stretch its legs and explore some new things. Frankly, I'm excited to see how things will change.

Plus, he's kind of a blowhard.

Ah. That screenshot shows Hitomi's dick move that I must have pulled off a billion times in Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate on Xbox.

I'm really looking forward to DOA5. In the meantime though, there's always DOA Dimensions, which is very bit as good as DOA2U and DOA4.

What makes you say that!? He made an exclusive DS release for Ninja Gaiden!
