get some nice headphones.

you wont really be able to use your speakers on high volume since you have your kid.

that, or use subtitles.

I'm sure once your kid gets older they're gonna get a kick out of the surround sound.

Get a play pen for you baby and keep him/her in the same room with you.

I'm sure many here and others have found a way to game and hold a kid at the same time :lol:

You'll have more fun this way when you finally play street fighter II with your boy!

Headphones are definitely a good option. What's your budget like? If you're into home theater as you say then you may appreciate some hi-fi headphones like the Sennheiser HD800 or Beyerdynamic T1. Or more reasonably priced like the K/Q701, DT990, HD650, etc. :mrgreen:







I am specifically recommending open back headphones because of their better soundstage and because they don't block out much outside noise. So if the baby is crying you'll still be able to hear them. :D
