Re: ATTN ALL MEMBERS - Need pics of your AC/DC adapters!
My Neo-Geo CD was different enough from the first one posted that I thought it would be worth showing. My console is a Japanese Region console if that makes any difference:

Re: ATTN ALL MEMBERS - Need pics of your AC/DC adapters!
All in good time. The purpose of this thread is just so that I can collect all the picture. Once I have all the pics I need, I'll be making a guide and posting it in the guides forum. The guide will cover a few things. What every consoles power requirements are, how to check, what all the symbols mean, checking an adapter with a multi meter, how to get a replacement, etc, etc.vlame wrote:how about proper replacements?
Thanks for the post! That's actually kinda funny, because I'm pretty sure my NeoGeo CD was a JPN one, but we have two different adapters (though the output the same voltages, but mine has a range for input voltage so it can be used in JPN, USA or PAL).jay_red wrote:My Neo-Geo CD was different enough from the first one posted that I thought it would be worth showing. This is exactly the reason I want people to post duplicates, so we can be aware of any variances between models, or even variances of the same model.

Few PAL pics...

^PSone^

^NES^

^SNES^Sorry for the quality but it had to be taken in situ, same white tip as the above NES.

^Master System Mark 1^

^Master System Mark 2^ Not sure this is correct as the adaptor outputs 10v and the system only needs 9v, but this is what i'm using.
EDIT: same adaptor as my other Master System Mark 2.
Will try and get some Megadrive and Atari pics later.

DC, thanks for the PAL adapters!
edit: So the PAL NES and SNES adapters are pretty much identical. The plug from the NES adapter fits into the SNES, and vice versa? I only ask because my NTSC-U NES plug does not fit my PAL SNES.

Yes, both the NES and SNES adaptors have the same voltage output, ampage and white tipped plug sizeZiggy587 wrote:DC, thanks for the PAL adapters!

I don't have anything rare and I think every single one of mine is a repeat, but you said that was okay, so here goes!

They look good to me, thanks! Just make sure you leave them uploaded long enough for me to download them, I'll probably grab them all tomorrow.
