It's probably just the weak Dollar vs. the strong Yen. I think the game's release is a nice gesture, not that the limited run is a slap in the face.

I would preorder it if that's true, but I don't even own a Wii. I'm holding out for the Wii U.

Even if this were true, which is it undoubtedly not, there are plenty of speculators who are buying multiple copies. There will probably be double the amount of games in circulation as demand.

Yes, I am convinced there will only be one production run of the game, but the amount will be based on various factors, not strictly pre-orders.

If this is true actually they gonna sell more! People will buy 3,4,5 copies to resell and then nintendo will say "Since this game sell so good were gonna give it a proper release".
