Soft Modding the Wii and Using a USB Loader 4.3U (Guide)

Sounds like maybe I should find a way to get my system menu up-to-date before doing this then. I've seen the ethernet adapter for around $7 so I'm guessing that'll do the trick.

What games include 4.3U on the disc?

Probably most big titles from the last year would. I'm sure there is a Wiki list out there.

I'd say grab the adapter it will make softmodding and getting homebrew much more fun. I mean with a connection you can get the homebrew browser and download stuff straight from the Wii instead of transferring it from your computer.

I Just found out that USB Loader GX added support for DIOS MIOS lite!
Now it’s possible to load GC games off an SD card all in the same loader as your wii games, but only from SD sadly, for hardware reasons.

hey i tried letterbombing i have 4.3u and every time i try to install bootmii and the homebrew channel i get an error that says "exception (DSI) occured!" then a ton of numbers. plz help

never mind i figured it out it was the fact that i had the classic controller attached but now how the heck do i put emulators on it do i just put it anywhere on the sd card
edit* so from watching the youtube videos on how to put emulators on your hacked wii i have realized that something is wrong i have homebrew channel on my main screen on my wii but on my sd card i only have two folders bootmii and private, now where the hell do i put my emulators on my wii. i knew i should just of bought a premodded wii or xbox im terrible when it comes to computers >.<

look under "Installation" under the emulator to see how to set up the SD card.

basically it's: apps/name of emu/boot.dol

Yeah make a folder called apps on the root of your card and put the emulator folder there.

IT WORKS!!!!!! side note right now i only have a 2gb sd card right now tommorow im gonna go buy a bigger one so i can put every cart game ever made on it haha so all i have to do then is copy and paste everything i have on my sd card right now and paste it onto the new one right? i dont have to do anything special?

BTW thank you again everyone im finally playing earthbound on my wii !!!!! but the real reason i did it is to play the mother 3 translation
