Dpad Awareness
You know what I miss every now and again? I miss using the Dpad. It just sits there without any purpose waiting to be touched. Are there any recommended games out there for last and current gen consoles that utilizes this long forgotten button? Don't worry old friend there might be some use for you after all!

Tekken 6, Street fighter 4, MK9, KOF (any), Soul Calibur V, .... any fighters would put the dpad to some good use.

Re: Dpad Awareness
Shoot-em-ups also make great use of the D-pad.
Re: Dpad Awareness
I've always preferred using the d-pad over the joystick on the THPS games for N64.
Re: Dpad Awareness
I'm going to say that I've enjoyed every d-pad Nintendo has made, even the Virtual Boy. Now the Playstation d-pad, wtf were they thinking by making it broken; it is alrigt for menu selection but for fighters, it is atrocious.

Re: Dpad Awareness
I use dpads all the time. Sidescrollers, fighters, shmups, rhythm games, puzzle, etc. all mostly better with a dpad or arcade stick. With a few exceptions, of course.
