I hope the soundtrack remains in tact. Remember what happened to Crazy Taxi.

Judging from the trailer, at least part of it is. As long as they keep "Super Brothers", "Funky Radio" and "Sweet Soul Brother", it shouldn't be that bad.

No issues with that. PC version seems to be locked at 30fps and has been crashing for me though.Incognito D wrote:picked this up today on PS3.

That said, all of the soundtrack is in tact except for Yappie Feet, and is available for 10 bucks on GamersGate.

That would be pretty awesome but the Dreamcast is still worth owningBoringSupreez wrote:Why stop there? Just have Sega port the entire library to PS3, upgraded to HD resolutions.sabrage wrote:If they just port Shenmue, I may never have to buy a Dreamcast at all!

Agreed. Just recently purchased a brand new PAL version of the game just to play and enjoy the exclusive tracks on that version. That would be pretty awesome but the Dreamcast is still worth owning

Re: Jet Set Radio XBLA/PSN Port
Man, too many good digital releases this year. I guess I'm gonna have to get this one at some point too. I haven't played JSR in a long time. I remember there was one annoying race against Beat that I never could get Jet on. Kept me from 100% completion on the DC version. Maybe it's time for me to take on that challenge again.

Re: Jet Set Radio XBLA/PSN Port
I heard that they added right stick camera control, which is really cool. If they also added a level select (which I think may have been in the International Edition) then I would truly need to pick this one up.
Re: Jet Set Radio XBLA/PSN Port
just played it on the 360 for about an hour, its the same good ol' Jet Grind Radio we all know and love. The graphics are nice and sharp, but honestly, without doing a side by side comparison (which I might do) it doesnt look a ton better than playing it on a Dreamcast with a VGA box. You do get it in wide screen though, so that is a plus. Kind of strange to play it without hearing the Dreamcast laser move frantically back and forth lol.

Re: Jet Set Radio XBLA/PSN Port
I downloaded it on the PS3. £6-whatever-pence isn't bad at all, even though I've had the Dreamcast version for nearly half my life.
The right stick support for moving the camera is a nice addition and the game looks great. I agree with jay_red though, that the HD graphics don't seem to be a huge improvement over playing the game on a Dreamcast with the VGA adapter, other than the wide screen support. Another minor complaint I have also, is that although it seems to control slighter better now with the dualshock 3 controller, the actual graffiti parts seem to be less fluid. I don't know if it's because I haven't played in ages or it's a fault with the update, but I am finding I am turning the stick to graffiti and it seems a bit unresponsive at times causing me to mess up way more than I ever did on the Dreamcast version. Anyone else finding this? Or do I just suck more now than I used to?
One major problem I've had with the game also, is my save file has corrupted once and I had to start all over again. I googled the problem and seems I've not been the only one who's suffered from a random 'corrupt save file' issue
Overall, it's definitely worth the download though, even if you have the Dreamcast version, just because despite the graffiti problem I raised, overall it controls better and looks great in wide screen. I just hope the corrupt save file issue I had doesn't reoccur and isn't a greater problem.
