i loved the first one lol i beat it twice but the second playthru i was grouped with this 12 year old and he gave me somesort of hacked weapon and shield that did infinite damage and had infinite health... so not sure my second playthru counts

You talk to the NPCs or the bounty boards. It takes a bit before you actually have sidequests available, though.
