Just a wild guess but since Wii U is fully backwards compatible, Nintendo typically makes a profit off consoles from launch instead of selling at a loss and counting on old hardware to buoy profits, and the Wii market is largely viewed as dead anyway, I doubt you'll see posthumous support. Would be happy to be proven wrong though.

That said, the real reason to buy Xenoblade is because it's a top notch game. Not because it *might* become a collector's item.

Well, my train of thought is if this game was $20 its alot easier to swallow not liking it vs spending $50 now. Or if i get that wild hair and find the time, potentially spending $100 on ebay for a game I could have bought at $50.

There are so many RPGs coming out right now that would have never seen the light of day if not for the begging of fans: Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, Tales of Graces F, and Tales of the Abyss 3D. It's so great to see that the JRPG is still alive and kicking. :)

That is the inside since it is a reversible cover.

Gotta say, I wouldn't mind having that cover on the box, even if it did clash horribly with the rest of the Wii shelf.

Soooo pretty.
