Went to a local this n' that store and got

Final Fight 2 - SNES - $5.00
Ghoul Patrol - SNES - $6.00
Snowboard Kids 2 - N64 - $8.00
Chibi-Robo - GCN - $5.00

Found a really nice copy of Wipeout complete in its original longbox today. The game hardly looks like its been played, pretty surprising after 16(!) years. I was just contemplating picking up CIB copies of every Psygnosis game the other day, and I can't think of a better way to start than this! It even came with a cardboard slipcover, which is pretty beat up but the art on the longbox is much nicer anyways. They misspelled "Qirex" as "Quirex" on the back of it

Oh, right: $5.

I once thought of collecting all the Psygnosis big box games with that beautiful sci-fi art but decided it wasn't something I wanted to chase. Is that what you're shooting for, or just every console game, or what?

I absolutely adore the pulp sci-fi art on Psygnosis' old stuff, Blood Money being a particular favorite:

I'd imagine that the old DOS and Amiga games would be pretty difficult to find in reasonable condition these days, though. It's just a pet project I've been toying with, but if I see any nice Psygnosis games in the wild I'm definitely going to snap them up. It's a shame what they did to the Wipeout 2097 cover art in the States :/

It was pretty run of the mill type stuff but i brought a bunch of cheapo NES games that were sitting in my FS thread here for months and the guy ended up giving me more in trade-in than what i was asking for on the forum! So we're all talking and he mentions he's got a bunch of games out back and he takes us into the back room...

There's a shelf with tons of US Saturn games. This guy has no idea what he has.

Long story short I walked in with a bunch of crummy NES games and walked out with Guardian Heroes and Shining Force II and all I had to pay was 5 bucks.

Gold mine. We're going back tomorrow.

Why don't you just start looking for Roger Dean artbooks?
